Man fatally shot in Northeast Baltimore

Homicide detectives are searching for a suspect who shot and killed a man in Northeast Baltimore late Tuesday night.

Baltimore police officers responded to the 1500 block of Upshire Road, in the city's Ednor Gardens-Lakeside neighborhood, about 11:21 p.m., police said. Near the intersection of The Alameda and Loch Raven Boulevard, officers found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the back. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:55 p.m., police said.

The victim was identified as Ronn Williams, 52, who lived on the same block where he was found, police said.

Detectives have no suspect in the shooting and urged anyone with information to call (410) 396-2100.

Baltimore police also released the identity of the victim killed in a separate unsolved shooting earlier Tuesday in the 2700 block of Hugo St. Police said Kevin David Everette, 27, of the 1600 block of Ralworth Road, was fatally shot at 1:29 p.m. in the Coldstream Homestead Montebello.
