A 22-year-old man was fatally shot in Poppleton Wednesday.
The man was found in the 800 block of W. Lexington Street with gunshot wounds to his body at about 8:40 p.m.
Baltimore Police officers on foot patrol a block away on West Saratoga Street heard gunshots and responded to the scene.
The man was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he died.
