Two police officers were injured Friday evening when their vehicles collided in West Baltimore.
At about 7:18 p.m., two marked Baltimore Police Department cars crashed in the 1000 block of N. Calhoun Street in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood, according to police. The officers were en route to a call to assist another officer, police said.
Both of the officers were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the department.
No civilians were injured. The department is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
