Two killed, two injured in recent shootings, Baltimore police say

Two men were killed and two others were injured in recent shootings, Baltimore police said Friday.

Officers were called at about 12:45 p.m. Friday to 4200 block of Flowerton Road in Southwest Baltimore where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His identity was not released Friday afternoon.

On Thursday night, police said Dustin McNeil, 26, and a 25-year-old woman were shot around 11 p.m. in the 4600 block of Belvieu Avenue in Howard Park in Northwest Baltimore. The woman was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition, but McNeil, who lived in the same block where the shooting occurred, was later pronounced dead at Sinai Hospital, police said.

Police said the victims were sitting inside a vehicle talking when an unknown suspect or suspects approached and shot them.

About half an hour earlier, police were called to the 1200 block of E. Fayette St. in Poppleton where a 35-year-old male who had been shot in the back of the head. Police said the victim was conscious and alert. Detectives said he had been sitting on a bench when an unknown gunman approached him on a bicycle and opened fire on him without warning.

Police on Friday also identified Rashad Parks, 19, of the 2900 block of Belmont Avenue, as the victim in a shooting Tuesday afternoon. Officers responded to Belmont Avenue about 12:57 p.m. and found Parks. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
