About an hour earlier, officers were called to an area hospital where a 29-year-old man was being treated for a gunshot wound to the leg.

Also at 12:20 a.m. in Carrollton Ridge, a 20 year-old male was found shot in the back in the 2000 block of West Pratt Street. He was transported to an area hospital and is in serious condition, police said.

Detectives said officers determined that the man was shot in the first block of N. Monroe Street. Detectives have yet to identify a suspect or determine a motive, police said.
