Three people were shot overnight in two separate incidents in the city, according to Baltimore Police.
On Saturday at about 12:20 a.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Patapsco Ave. for a report of a shooting, police said.
They found a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the left foot, police said. He was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition.
Detectives have learned that the victim was exiting the corner store at Patapsco Avenue and St. Victor Street when he heard several gunshots, police said. The victim said he started to run when he felt pain in his left foot. He did not see the shooter, police added.
Officers also responded to the 1900 block of E. Lafayette Ave. in the Broadway East neighborhood at about 2:30 a.m. for a report of a double shooting, police said.
At the scene, officers found a 22-year-old man who was shot in the left foot and a 25-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds to her right leg, police said. Both victims were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
Detectives have determined the victims were sitting outside on steps when an unknown assailant began shooting at them without warning.
