17-year-old dead, three men injured in Baltimore shootings

A 17-year-old boy is dead and three men were injured in shootings Tuesday night, Baltimore police said.

Officers were called to a double shooting just after 9 p.m. in which a 17-year-old was killed and a 20-year-old was injured at the corner of McHenry and S. Calhoun streets in Mount Clare.

Police on Wednesday identified the teen as Rayshawn Jones, of the 1700 block of Harford Road.

The 20-year-old underwent surgery Tuesday night, police said. His condition was not immediately available Wednesday.

A 19-year-old was shot just before 2:20 a.m. in the 700 block of West Benjamin Quarles Place, just west of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Officers found him suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the lower body. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

A 8:50 p.m. Tuesday officers were called to Johns Hopkins Hospital, after a 25-year-old man walked in, suffering from a non-life threatening graze wound. He told police he was shot in the 800 block of East North Avenue, north of Green Mount Cemetery.
