Two men were shot, and one of them is in critical condition, in separate incidents in Baltimore early Monday morning, police said.
A 44-year-old man was shot in the head around 1:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Ave. in the Upton neighborhood, and was found by police in the 1100 block of North Carrollton Avenue. He was listed in stable condition at a hospital, police said. Anyone with information may call Central District detectives at 410-396-2411.
Another man, 31, was shot multiple times around 1:50 a.m. in the 1400 block of West Pratt Street in Union Square. He was in critical condition at a hospital, police said. Anyone with information can call 410-396-2499.
Non-fatal shootings are up 87 percent in Baltimore, police said. There have been 262 non-fatal shootings this year, compared with 140 at the same time last year.
