Two men were shot, one fatally, in Baltimore overnight, police said.
At about 1:40 a.m., a man was found by police in an alley in the 1700 block of Malvern Street in Southeast Baltimore. The man, who had been shot in the head, was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
Neighbors reported hearing a gunshot and then finding the victim in the alley, police said. Detectives were unable to locate witnesses and said they know of no motive or suspects.
Sometime before 4:37 a.m., a 28-year-old man was shot in the legs in the 6100 block of Cardiff Avenue in Medford. Police said the victim ran from Cardiff Avenue to the 6100 block of Shipview Way before he collapsed and called for help. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment. He was in stable condition, police said Wednesday.
