A man was shot in the leg early Saturday night in northern Baltimore, police said.
At around 7:30 p.m. Baltimore police were called to investigated a shooting reported at the intersection of Loch Raven Boulevard and Cold Spring Lane in the New Northwood neighborhood. When they arrived, officers found an adult male with a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Investigators believe the unidentified man was shot near the intersection of E. 43rd Street and St. Georges Avenue about a half mile west of the intersection where police responded.
