Two killed, two wounded in separate shootings beginning Wednesday evening

Two people were shot and killed and two others wounded Wednesday night throughout the city, police said.

The three men and one woman fell victim in the separate shootings in North, West and South Baltimore.

The woman, 30, was shot multiple times shortly before 7 p.m. in the Washington Village-Pigtown neighborhood of South Baltimore, police said. She was shot in the 1300 block of James St. and died at the hospital.

A 19-year-old man was shot and killed in the West Arlington neighborhood of Northwest Baltimore. Officers were called about 9:40 p.m. to the 4300 block of Fernhill Ave., where the man was found. He died about 10 p.m. at the hospital, police said.

Shortly before 10 p.m., another 19-year-old man was shot in the Northwest Community Action neighborhood of Southwest Baltimore, police said. The man was found on the 1800 block of N. Dukeland St. and hospitalized. His condition was not immediately known.

The first victim Wednesday evening was a 30-year-old man shot in his leg in Northeast Baltimore. Officers were called shortly after 6:30 p.m. to the 6600 block of McClean Blvd., the Hamilton Hills neighborhood. His condition was also not immediately known.
