Separate shootings wound two men in Baltimore Monday afternoon

A man was shot in his arm and leg Monday afternoon in the Harlem Park neighborhood of West Baltimore, police said. Hours later, another man was shot in his side in Northeast Baltimore, police said.

Officers were called to the first shooting shortly after 2:30 p.m. in the 800 block of N. Fremont Ave. The man was hospitalized. His condition was not available and police did not release his age.

Shortly after 6 p.m., officers were called to the 5500 block of Bowleys Lane in the Frankford neighborhood. Police found a 21-year-old man shot in his side.

The man, police said, wouldn't reveal where or when he was shot.
