A 48-year-old man was shot in the back and a 28-year-old man was shot in the torso area in Southwest Baltimore Tuesday evening, police said.
Police were called to the 500 block of Edgewood St. at 5:34 p.m., where they found the two victims. The men were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
Southwest detectives were called to the scene and are investigating the incident. A suspect description and motive were not available, and anyone with information may call 410-396-2488.
Two people were killed in shootings early Tuesday, Baltimore police said, the first homicides in June. May saw 43 homicides, becoming the city's most violent month in more than 40 years.
