A man was shot in the chest during a robbery in Southwest Baltimore, one of two shootings city police reported Sunday.
The man was found in the 2600 block of South Paca St. in the Mount Winans neighborhood about 3:12 p.m., police said. He was taken to an area hospital and was in stable condition, police said.
Police believe the motive for the shooting was a robbery. Southern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information about the incident to call 410-396-2499.
Separately, a shooting victim walked into an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the back just after 6 p.m. Sunday, police said. Sunday night, the victim was receiving medical treatment and his condition was stable. Northern District detectives are investigating the incident, anyone with information may call 410-396-2455.
The incidents brought the number of weekend shootings in the city to at least three. Friday night, a man was shot in the face during a robbery of a business in the Oliver neighborhood. He was not seriously injured.
