Baltimore homicide detectives are investigating two homicides Sunday on the city's east side.
Officers responded at about 2:35 p.m. to the area of N. Caroline and E. Madison streets in the Gay Street neighborhood for multiple reports of a shooting. A man was found shot multiple times in his torso. He was transported to an area hospital, where he died, police said.
At about 3:15 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 100 block of N. Janney St., in the Kresson neighborhood, where they found a man with what looked to be stab wounds to his neck and stomach, police said. He was taken to an area hospital where, despite lifesaving efforts, he died of his injuries, they said.
Police have not released the name of the victim.
The homcides follow one reported Saturday afternoon in the Saint Josephs neighborhood in Southwest Baltimore. Officers responded to the 3300 black of W. Caton Ave. at about 3:09 p.m. for reports of firearms discharging and a possible shooting. The man, who has not been identified, died after suffering what appeared to be at least one gunshot wound to the chest, police said.

Also Sunday, police were investigating two non-fatal shootings.
A man was shot in the arm in the 1000 block of Dartmouth Rd. in the Evesham Park neighborhood of North Baltimore. Police responded around 8 p.m., and the man was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Anyone with information may call 410-396-2455.
After 10 p.m., police reported a man was shot in the arm in the 1600 block of Calhoun St. in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood of West Baltimore. Anyone with information may call detectives at 410-396-2477.
