Baltimore police are investigating the death Friday afternoon of a man from stab wounds inside Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Police were called about 2:30 p.m. after staff members heard a disturbance in a hospital room. Staff members entered the room and found a man who appeared to have been stabbed in the upper body, police said. The victim was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
Investigators say the victim was at the hospital with his son, who was undergoing a medical procedure, and his son's mother. The mother and father were in the room with each other when the incident occurred, police said.
Officers were continuing to investigate, police said.
