Two men, one of them 68 years old, were shot to death Monday morning in West Baltimore, police said.
The double shooting happened about 2:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Rayner Avenue in the Harlem Park neighborhood, and medics pronounced the victims dead at the scene.
Police did not identify the victims, and no suspect description or possible motive was released. They did not say the age of the second victim.
The men were the 307th and 308th homicide victims in Baltimore this year. Fifty-nine people have been killed in the Western District alone, according to Baltimore police.
Also Monday afternoon, a man was injured in a shooting in South Baltimore. A patrol officer found the victim at about 1 p.m. at Patapsco Avenue and Potee Street after he heard gunshots, police said. The man was hospitalized.
Police on Monday also identified Brandon Lee, 27, as the victim in a killing Friday in the 2200 block of West Lexington Street.
