Baltimore police identified two shooting victims and reported a third homicide from the weekend.

Baltimore police are investigating more than a dozen shootings over the weekend, including three homicides. On Monday, the department identified the victims of the two deadly shootings, while revealing the third deadly incident.

After 45 homicides in July, police said the first homicide of August occurred early on Saturday, when Terrence Boyd, 29, of the 1600 block of Hilton Street, was killed in the 1600 block of Cole Street.

Police said Darod Rosenburough, 31, was killed in the 2100 block of Vine St. at 1:22 a.m.. The shooting, originally pegged by police to the 2200 block of W. Fayette St., was one of two to occur in the Penrose section of West Baltimore in approximately an hour early Sunday. Police said a 28-year-old man was killed at 2:26 a.m. in the 200 block of N. Payson St.

Police on Monday said Rosenburough died, though they haven't identified the man in the Payson St. shooting.

The men were among 10 people shot between midnight and 3 a.m. on Sunday.

The 45 July homicides equaled the mark recorded in August 1972, which is the most on record in the city in more than 40 years.

For the year, Baltimore has 192 homicides through Monday morning.
