Baltimore woman charged in stabbing death of boyfriend

Baltimore police have charged a 44-year-old woman with stabbing her boyfriend to death Monday night in East Baltimore.

Michelle Wilson, of the 700 block of Carey Street in Harlem Park, stabbed Anthony Robinson, 46, once in his side at his home, police said. The incident took place at about 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 28 in the 1700 block of E. Eager St. in the Middle East neighborhood.

Police said Wilson and Robinson were going to get into a vehicle after the stabbing when Robinson became unresponsive. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died, police said.

Wilson has been transported to Central Booking, police said.

Michelle Wilson was placed under arrest and transported to Central Booking. A description of charges was not immediately available.

The homicide is the 342nd in Baltimore in 2015 — the second most on record for a single year. In 1993, 353 people were killed in Baltimore, at a time when the city had approximately 100,000 more residents more than it does now.
