Man killed in Northeast Baltimore early Friday, police say

A 30-year-old man died from a cutting in Northeast Baltimore early Friday, city police said.

Officers were called at 2:02 a.m. to the 5100 block of Conant Way, near Herring Run Park and Sinclair Lane, for a report of a cutting. There, they found a the victim suffering from stab wounds to the upper body.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he later died. Police did not release his name Friday morning.

Police said he had been involved in an altercation, but the unidentified suspects fled the area before officers arrived.
