Two killed in Baltimore shootings Monday

303rd homicide of 2015 occurs in Northeast Baltimore Monday morning.

Two men were killed in separate shootings in Baltimore Monday, police said, and homicide detectives also were called to a third shooting later Monday night.

Officers were called at 6:20 p.m. to the 1200 block of N. Eden St. in the Oliver section of East Baltimore, where a man was found shot multiple times. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The homicide followed the killing of a 28-year-old man on the city's northeast side Monday morning, police said.

Police responded about 10:45 a.m. to the 5300 block of Sinclair Lane in the city's Frankford neighborhood for a reported shooting and found the man with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, police said.

That victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The killings are Baltimore's 303rd and 304th of 2015.

Later Monday night, homicide detectives walked through an alley behind the 3100 block of Westmont Ct. in The Rosemont Community public housing complex, southwest Baltimore, where police said a man had been shot about 9:30 p.m. His condition was not released.

No suspects or motives were announced in any of the shootings. Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCK-UP.
