Three people were shot, two of them fatally, in Baltimore Tuesday night, police said.
A 21-year-old man was killed in Baltimore Highlands in Southeast Baltimore, police said. Officers were called at 7:48 p.m. to the 200 block of N. Conkling Street, where the man was found and pronounced dead, police said.
Another was shot to death in the 2200 block of Ashton St., in Carrollton Ridge on the southwest side, police said. Authorities were called just before 9 p.m. Earlier this month, a 20-year-old and a 15-year-old were nonfatally shot a block away. It's unclear whether the two shootings are related.
The third shooting happened in the 3500 block of Old York Road in Waverly, where a 23-year-old was shot in the buttocks. He was taken to a hospital for treatment, and was expected to survive. The shooting happened down the street from where 3-year-old McKenzie Elliott was killed by a stray bullet a year ago this month.
Police gave no further information in any of the shootings, including any details regarding the suspect or motive.
