A man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in the city's Penn North neighborhood Wednesday morning, Baltimore police said.
Officers were called 7:04 a.m. to the 2500 block of Druid Hill Ave. for a report of a dead body. They found a 42-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police did not provide additional details Wednesday morning, including the victim's identity. Homicide detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to call 410-396-2100.
The shooting occurred about seven blocks from another on Monday in the 1800 block of Druid Hill Ave. In that incident, which occurred just before 10 p.m., police said a 26-year-old man was shot in the torso and arm. Police have not yet identified him.
