Baltimore police identify man shot to death on McHenry Street

Baltimore police on Wednesday identified a man shot to death Tuesday in Southwest Baltimore.

Police said Kenneth Taylor, 48, of the 1500 block of Penrose Street, was found shot in the head at about 12:15 p.m. in the 2500 block of McHenry Street near the Westside Shopping Center, police said. He was taken to a hospital but died from his injures.

Police provided no details on any suspect or motive in the killing. Homicide detectives are investigating, and anyone with information may call 410-396-2100.

In addition, two other men were injured in separate shootings Tuesday night, police said.

A man was shot in the back at about 6:21 p.m. in the 300 block of Calhoun Street in Franklin Square, police said. He was taken to a hospital for treatment, and his condition was not released. Anyone with information may call 410-396-2477.

Police reported later, just after 11:30 p.m. that a man was shot in the leg in 3900 block of Edgewood Road in East Arlington, police said. He was taken to an area hospital. No further details were released. Anyone with information in that incident may call 410-396-2466.
