17-year-old charged with witness retaliation, other crimes in West Baltimore home robbery

A 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged as an adult Wednesday in connection with a Jan. 16 home robbery in West Baltimore, police said.

Daniel Rockwell faces 18 criminal charges — including armed robbery, assault, gun violations and felony witness retaliation — in connection with the break-in in the 1800 block of W. Baltimore St. in Franklin Square, police said.

No attorney was listed for Rockwell in online court records.

The man who lived in the home told responding officers a group of suspects had entered his house, threatened him and left with money and cell phone accessories, police said.

Rockwell was identified as a suspect, arrested and taken to the Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Facility, where he is being held without bond, according to court records.
