A 71-year-old woman was injured in a hit-and-run crash Saturday, Baltimore police said.
At about 10:30 a.m., the woman was attempting to cross the street in the unit block of West Lombard Street when she was hit by a Nissan Sentra, police said. The driver of the Nissan briefly stopped and then left the scene, police said.
The woman was transported to an area hospital where she is being treated for her injuries. Police said the Nissan, which was last seen traveling westbound on Lombard Street, has a Maryland tag of 3DC2676.
Police ask that anyone with information on the whereabouts of the driver or vehicle call detectives at 410-396-2606.
