Baltimore police seize $500,000 in cash, 7 pounds of pot

Baltimore police said they seized more than $500,000 in cash and 7 pounds of marijuana in raids on two homes near Pimlico Race Course.

Officers said they saw illegal drug activity taking place this week and arrested 39-year-old Kevin Lomax, police said. Lomax is charged with numerous drug offenses. Online court records don't list a lawyer for him.

Search and seizure warrants were executed at Lomax's home and another nearby residence, police said. The cash, marijuana, crack cocaine, oxycodone, a handgun and body armor were seized.
