Two men shot in double shooting in Southwest Baltimore

Two men were shot in a double shooting in Southwest Baltimore on Thursday morning, according to Baltimore Police.

About 10:22 a.m., special operations officers working in the area observed a vehicle "speeding away from a shooting scene," and followed it to an area hospital, police said.

There, two men in the vehicle — aged 42 and 44 — were found to be suffering from gunshot wounds, police said. They told police they had been shot in the 2500 block of Boyd Street, in the city's Shipley Hill neighborhood, police said.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCK-UP. Callers may remain anonymous.
