One dead, two injured in overnight shootings in Baltimore, police say

One man is dead and two others were injured in shootings in Baltimore overnight from Friday into Saturday, Baltimore Police said.

Two men were found shot in the 2500 block of Madison St. near N. Rose St. in the Milton-Montford neighborhood of East Baltimore at 2:15 a.m. Saturday, after an officer in the area heard a gun go off, police said.

One man had been shot in the head and was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he died, police said. Police did not share any other information on the victim. The other man, who is 41 years old, was treated for a graze wound to his head.

Earlier, Friday night, a teenager was wounded in a shooting in Northwest Baltimore, police said.

Police said they were called to the 4100 block of Dorchester Road in the Dorchester neighborhood at 9:28 p.m., when they found a male 19-year-old who had been shot.

Police released no further information about the shooting or the young man’s condition.
