Four people shot, two fatally, in three separate shootings across Baltimore on Wednesday

Baltimore Police said four people were shot, two fatally, in three separate shootings across the city on Wednesday.

Police said just before 2:15 p.m. they were called to Northeast Baltimore for a well-being check in the 2400 block of BridgeHampton Drive.

When officers arrived in the Hamilton Hills neighborhood, police said, they found a 23-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man with gunshot wounds to their head. Police said they died at the scene.

Five hours later, police said, they were called to Southwest Baltimore in the Rognel Heights neighborhood for a shooting.

When officers arrived in the 4400 block of Flowerton Road, they found a 19-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his head and chest. Police said the man was transported to an area hospital where his condition is unknown.

Police said homicide detectives have been notified due to the severity of the man’s injuries.

Earlier in the day, police were called to Edgewood neighborhood for a shooting.

Authorities said when they arrived in the Southwest Baltimore neighborhood they found a 41-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

An officer applied a tourniquet to the man’s leg to help slow the bleeding until medics arrived. Police said the man was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
