Two men were shot in separate incidents Saturday in Baltimore, police said.
A 51-year-old man, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital in serious condition after being shot in the chest in the 2800 block of Boarman Ave. just after 6 p.m., police said.
“Preliminary investigation reveals there were men fighting in the block when the victim was shot,” police said in a news release.

A half-hour later, a 36-year-old man was shot in the leg in South Baltimore, police said.
Officers found evidence of a shooting in the 1600 block of Olmstead St. in Curtis Bay and found the victim shot in the leg in the 3700 block of Fairhaven Ave., nearly a half-mile away, police said. That victim, whose name also was not released, was expected to survive.
