One dead, two injured in Baltimore shootings Thursday and Friday, police say

A male victim died and two people were injured during three separate shootings on Thursday and Friday in Baltimore, police said.

A man died Friday morning after being shot in the head in the 1100 block of Wilmott Court in Old Town, according to a news release.


Eastern District patrol officers responded about 9:45 a.m. to investigate a reported shooting. Police found the victim with an apparent gunshot to the head. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police identified him Monday as 37-year-old Delanie McCloud.

Eastern District police also responded to a shooting Thursday night in the Oliver neighborhood. Police were dispatched approximately 10:30 p.m. to the 1700 block of Asquith Street for a ShotSpotter alert.

A blood trail led police to a home in the 1700 block of Lamont Avenue, where they found a 51-year-old man with apparent gunshot wounds, according to a news release.

He was taken to a hospital where he was in stable condition. Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to call 410-396-2433.

About two hours earlier, Northwest District patrol officers responded to a hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

A 20-year-old man had apparent gunshot wounds, police said. He was in stable condition. Investigators found a crime scene in the 3200 block of West Belvedere Avenue in Arlington, police said.
