Two men were fatally shot in separate incidents Saturday in West and Northwest Baltimore, police said.
Baltimore police officers were dispatched just after 2 a.m. to an area hospital when a man sought treatment there for gunshot wounds. Investigators believe the 28-year-old man was shot in the 3500 block of Spaulding Ave., in the Central Park Heights neighborhood, police said.
Medical personnel pronounced the man dead shortly after police arrived. Homicide detectives have assumed control over the investigation, police said.
Patrol officers were also dispatched to investigate a reported shooting around 1:57 p.m. to the 2100 block of Baker St. in the Easterwood neighborhood where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead shortly after medical personnel arrived on the scene, police said. Homicide detectives have assumed control over the investigation.
