Baltimore police are investigating after two men were injured in separate shootings just hours a part in the same neighborhood, police said.
Around 5:52 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for the report of a walk-in shooting victim. When officers arrived, they found a 20-year-old man who was suffering from gunshot wounds to his body, police said.
Preliminary information from the investigation shows that the man was shot in the 300 block of Yale Ave. in the Irvington neighborhood of Southwest Baltimore.
The man is currently in critical condition, according to police.

Just over two hours later, Southwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for the report of another walk-in shooting victim. Once there, officers located a man suffering from gunshot wounds to his body.
Officers were told that the shooting occurred in the 600 block of Yale Ave. of Southwest Baltimore in the Yale heights neighborhood, police said.
Additionally, police identified several other homicide victims dating back to Jan. 19. Breonna Rogers, 30, was shot and killed in the 3100 block of Swann Dr. in the Parkview and Woodbrook neighborhood of West Baltimore.
Police then identified three other homicide victims who had been killed the same day on Jan. 20.

Police also identified Alissa Taylor, a 16-year-old girl of Aberdeen as a homicide victim who was killed in the 600 block of Lakeview Ave. while in the Reservoir Hill neighborhood of West Baltimore, police said.
