15-year-old shot overnight in Northeast Baltimore, police say

A 15-year-old boy was shot in Northeast Baltimore just after midnight Saturday, Baltimore Police said.

Officers were called to the 5500 block of Belair Road for a shooting at around 12:26 a.m., police said. There they found the victim who had been shot in the arm and the leg.

He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

He is at least the second teenager to be shot in Baltimore this week. A 16-year-old boy was killed in a triple shooting at the Alameda Marketplace on Thursday night.
