A 71-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday afternoon in Upton, police said.
Baltimore Police were dispatched to the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Mosher Street scene at approximately 4:44 p.m. When they arrived, the victim was trapped under a vehicle.
The victim, whose identity has yet to be released, was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he later died, police said.
The driver, a 37-year-old male, remained at the scene and was taken into police custody, police said.
Additionally, police announced Friday that the death of 63-year-old Anthony Barksdale was ruled a homicide caused by blunt force trauma by the Medical Examiner.
Police found Barksdale unresponsive at the 1800 block of West Lexington Street on March 18, 2022 and was pronounced dead later that day.
