Police said a male victim is in critical condition after being shot in West Baltimore on Monday night.
Baltimore Police said Western District officers were called to the 2000 block of W. Lexington St. in the Penrose/Fayette Street Outreach neighborhood just after 8 p.m. to investigate a shooting.
Officers said they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds and he was transported to an area hospital where he is in critical condition.
Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting due to the severity of the man’s injuries.
