Man killed in Southeast Baltimore shooting early Tuesday morning

A 37-year-old man was killed in a shooting in Southeast Baltimore early Tuesday morning, police say.

A few minutes before 1 a.m., officers were called to the 500 block of North Highland Avenue in the city’s Ellwood Park/Monument neighborhood for a reported shooting.

Officers located the man with gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release from Baltimore Police.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them at 410-396-2100 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP to make an anonymous report.
