A man was fatally stabbed in the chest early Thursday in East Baltimore’s Douglas Homes Projects, Baltimore police said.
Police responded to the 1400 block of May Court for the report of a cutting around 1:44 a.m., according to a news release. The man was taken to a hospital and died.
Hours later, police responded to a shooting around 5:36 a.m. in the 5300 block of Cordelia Ave. in the Arlington area of northwest Baltimore. There, police found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to his arm, police said.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them about the fatal stabbing at 410-396-2100.
