Gas station parking lot shooting in Northwest Baltimore leaves one man injured, police say

A shooting in the parking lot of a gas station in Northwest Baltimore Monday evening left one man injured, police said.

The 22-year-old arrived at a hospital for treatment. Baltimore police said they had no information about the man’s condition.

Officers with the department’s Northwest District station responded around 6:30 p.m. to the 3900 block of Liberty Heights Avenue after being tipped off about gunshots by the shot spotter network, police said.

Police said the officers found evidence of a shooting in the parking lot of the BP Gas Station.

Shortly thereafter, police said, more officers were dispatched to the hospital where the 22-year-old man had arrived for treatment after being shot.

The incident is being investigated by Northwest District shooting detectives.
