One man was killed and three others were injured in separate shootings Monday, according to Baltimore Police.
In the first incident, Northern District officers responded to the 4800 block of Midwood Ave. in the Winston neighborhood for a report of a shooting around 1:57 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a 27-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body, police said.
He was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
Police said that preliminary information showed that the man was involved in a vehicle crash at the location when he was confronted by the suspect who pulled out a gun and shot him. It is unclear whether the suspect was involved with the crash, police said.
Less than 30 minutes later, officers responded to the 2900 block of Westwood Ave. near the Rosemont neighborhood of West Baltimore around 2:19 p.m. When officers arrived, they found an unknown male who was shot in the chest. He was taken to an area hospital and his condition is unknown, police said.
Southwest District shooting detectives are investigating this shooting and asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2488.
About two hours later officers were called to the 6600 block of Aquarius Court for a shooting.
When officers arrived in the Hamilton Hills neighborhood, they found a 24-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his right shoulder. Officers gave aid to the man, police said.
He was transported to an area hospital and his condition was not disclosed.
Investigators said they discovered that the man was sitting inside his car when he was shot by an unknown suspect.
Police said they were also called to South Baltimore around 7:50 p.m. for a shooting in the 3600 block of 5th St.
Officers said they found a 32-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his back in the Graceland Park neighborhood. The man was transported to an area hospital where his condition is unknown, police said.
