Baltimore Police: Two men killed, two others shot across city

Baltimore Police are investigating four separate shootings Monday, including one during the afternoon that killed a 21-year-old man outside his South Baltimore home.

Police say that around 1:08 p.m., officers received a call about a shooting at a home in the 2400 block of Maisel Court in the Mount Winans neighborhood.

When officers arrived, they found 21-year-old Tyrek Harvin, who lived there, police said.

Harvin had been shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2100.

Around 8:30 p.m. Monday, officers were called to Southwest Baltimore to investigate a shooting.

Police said that when they arrived in the 2000 block of Whistler Ave. they found an unconscious man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man died at the Morrell Park neighborhood scene, police said.

Police were called to South Baltimore for a shooting around 7:30 p.m. in the Westport neighborhood.

When officers arrived in the 2200 block of Kloman St. they found an unconscious man suffering from gunshot wounds. Police said the man was transported to an area hospital and homicide detectives were called to the scene because of the severity of the victim’s injuries.

Around the same time, Northeastern District officers were called to the 3600 block of Bonview Ave. to investigate a shooting.

When officers arrived in the Belair-Edison neighborhood, they found a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the thigh.

The man was transported to an area hospital, police said.
