Baltimore police are investigating an incident that left a man critically injured from a gunshot downtown, police said Friday afternoon.
About 1:21 p.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the 200 block of W. Lexington St. for a report of a shooting, police said.
The injured man was taken to an area hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. Homicide detectives were also notified due to the man’s injuries, according to police.
