In the first case, police were summoned by a manager at the Deluxe Plaza Motel at 6401 Pulaski Highway on March 28, around 11:30 a.m., who said that the occupant of a room had not checked out. Patrol officers went to the motel and found Ashley Lambert unresponsive, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers saw no signs of trauma, but an autopsy determined she had been killed. Police did not provide a cause of death.

Lambert’s last known address was in Severn.

Police also said that 17-year-old Kenyon Jones, who was shot March 4 in the 2000 block of W. Pratt St., died from his injuries yesterday. The shooting happened at 3:15 p.m., and police said Jones had just exited a food market when two unknown persons approached on foot and without warning opened fire on the victim.

Both cases are unsolved. Police asked anyone with information to call 410-396-2100.
