A Baltimore man was arrested and charged with killing of a 36-year-old man Sunday in the Carrollton Ridge neighborhood, police say.
Jonathan Blagmon, 37, is charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault andseveral handgun violations in the killing of Michael Alston, Maryland court records show.
Officers responded to the shooting around 1:46 p.m. in the 2000 block of Ramsay Street, where they found Alston suffering from gunshot wounds.
Alston was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma, and pronounced dead upon arrival.
Blagmon was identified as a suspect in the course of a department homicide unit investigation. He was arrested on Monday taken to the Central Booking and Intake facility, according to police.
