A man who was found with a bullet wound to the head in East Baltimore early Friday evening has died, according to Baltimore Police.
Officers responding to a call arrived at the rear side of a residence in the 1900 block of E. North Avenue at 5:49 p.m. to find an unidentified male who had been shot. The victim was unresponsive, police said.
The man was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital where despite doctors’ efforts he died a short time later.
The identity of the victim is still unknown, Det. Donny Moses, a police spokesman, said. Eastern District Homicide Investigation detectives have taken over the case.
