1 man killed, another injured in overnight double shooting in Pigtown, Baltimore police say

A man was killed and another was injured in an overnight double shooting in Southwest Baltimore, police said Friday.

At around 1:02 a.m., Southern District officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Washington Blvd. in Pigtown to investigate a shooting.

When officers arrived to the location they found a 22-year-old man and a 25-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to their bodies, police said.

The 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while medics took the 25-year-old man to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The double shooting comes after three people were killed in separate shootings on Thursday, while five others were injured.
