Man shot in face in Westport Saturday, police say; two others shot in Southeast Baltimore Friday

A 45-year-old man is believed to have been shot in the face in Westport in South Baltimore on Saturday night, according to Baltimore Police. Two others were shot in the city Friday.

Officers were called to an area hospital about 7:12 p.m. Saturday and found the 45-year-old man receiving treatment for his facial wound, police said. Detectives believe he was shot in the 2800 block of Manokin St., police said.

Two people were found shot on North Ellwood Avenue Friday after police were alerted by ShotSpotter technology that detected gun shots in the area, police said.

One man was found with a wound in his chest and a second person was shot in the leg about 6:50 p.m., police said.
