A man who was shot was found dead inside of a burning car Thursday night, Baltimore police said.
Officers were called to the 900 block of East Hoffman St. for a report of a vehicle on fire. The officers found a 35-year-old man inside of the vehicle with gunshot wounds to his body. Police have so far not released the victim’s identity.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The burning car was found in the same block that borders Green Mount Cemetery.
Officers also identified three homicide victims from this week. Donte Smith, 38, and Lionel Yancy, 49, were both identified as homicide victims from a shooting on the 5300 block of Winner Ave. on Wednesday.
Eric Jones, 49, was identified as a homicide victim from a Thursday shooting that occurred in the 2300 block of Westwood Ave.
