A 4-year-old boy’s death in October was ruled a homicide Tuesday after Baltimore Police said he died because of methadone intoxication.
Police said in a news release Wednesday that officers were called to Johns Hopkins Hospital on Oct. 30, 2020, around 9:30 p.m. for a child’s death.
When officers arrived at the hospital, they found Deyonte Davis, 4, who doctors had recently pronounced dead.
Detectives did not see any signs of foul play to the boy’s body, but he was transported to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.
